A valley on the go

Thanks to its privileged position, Vigo di Fassa is the perfect starting point for excursions and walks during the summer, and is the beating heart of the Catinaccio-Rosengarten ski area during the winter.

Summer

Vigo di Fassa allows you to go on countless walks and excursions suitable for all levels of difficulty, both on the valley floor and at high altitude.

Examples of walks on the valley floor: leaving from theChurchofSanta Giuliana, follow an easy dirt road down up to Vael and back to where you set off.

An alternative to this walk is the route that leaves Vigo di Fassa for Tamion, a small hamlet of the village.

The main high-altitude excursions leave from Ciampedìe, within easy reach by cable car. Here, nature in all its splendour surrounds those who set off on an excursion.

Winter

During the winter, the ski area of Ciampedìe sets the standard. This splendid natural terrace stands at an altitude of 2,000 m and provides a wonderful 360° view of the Dolomites. A slice of paradise with 16 km of slopes for all levels. This area is ideal for families and children who can have fun all day long in theBabyPark run by the ski school.
